Samarpan Jharkhand
Who we are
Samarpan is a trusted grassroots organization working to empower marginalized, mica-dependent communities by ensuring access to health, nutrition, entitlements, and sustainable livelihoods.
Each month, over 5,000 women, youth, and adolescents engage in community-led discussions on maternal and child health, nutrition, mental well-being, water conservation, agriculture, financial literacy, and local governance-guided by trained Samarpan facilitators.
We are deeply grateful to the government, leading like-minded organizations, institutions, foundations, philanthropies, networks, and alliances whose valuable support has enabled us to grow and expand as a stronger organization.

Welcome to Samarpan
Samarpan is a is a not for profit voluntary organization based in Jharkhand, working for over two decades in Jharkhand and Uttar Pradesh to uphold child rights and holistic community development. It began as a campaign to bring children out of illegal mica mining in Koderma and into education. What started as a youth-led movement evolved into a formally registered organization focused on education, health, nutrition, livelihoods, and entitlements for marginalized communities.
