Samarpan works to strengthen the economic resilience and food security of vulnerable communities by promoting sustainable livelihoods and skill development. Our focus is on empowering smallholder farmers, women, and youth to become self-reliant and improve their quality of life.
Our Key Interventions:
- Promoting climate-resilient agriculture, crop diversification, and efficient land and water management
- Establishing Community Seed Banks and promoting indigenous food systems
- Facilitating market linkages to enhance farmers’ income
- Providing vocational training, skill development, and career guidance for youth and women
- Supporting entrepreneurship through counselling, enterprise development, and mentoring
- Offering asset support and running Common Facility Centres (CFCs) for production and processing
